     Established in 1990, District Institute of Education and Training Muzaffarnagar is a leading institution, located in Muzaffarnagar State Uttar Pradesh with the objective to bring academic and resource support at the grass-roots level for the success of the various strategies and programmes being undertaken in the area of elementary/primary education and adult education systems in the district. As well as DIET will have been working on three main functions, viz training (both of induction level as well as continuing varieties), resource support (extension/guidance, development of materials, aids, evaluation tools etc) and action research regularly since its establishment. DIET Muzaffarnagar is continuously engaged in achieving these objectives.

Students can pursue their education from the institute in certificate courses named D.El.Ed with an intake capacity of 200 students. This programme is offered in Full Time mode. The course provides an in-depth stream of teaching & education and is approved by NCTE. DIET Muzaffarnagar provides the opportunity to gain expertise through its trained and experienced faculty.
